Fees and insurance

Holding Space Therapy, LLC is in-network with WI Medicaid, Chorus, Quartz, and UHC (Optum/UMR). Contracts with Dean, BCBS, and Anthem are pending.

While there are benefits to using health insurance to pay for mental health services, there are significant drawbacks. These drawbacks include 1. Health insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to pay for services 2. The diagnosis becomes part of your child’s medical record 3. Health insurance companies have complete access to your child’s confidential record therefore, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed 4. Health insurance companies can determine details of treatment such as frequency and the number of sessions. Due to these factors, I have chosen to be Out of Network with health insurance companies and not charge them directly.

Session Rates

Diagnostic Assessment Session: $200
Individual Play Therapy Session: $150
Caregiver Only/Family Psychotherapy Session: $150

Payment collection

Payment is due at the beginning of each session. Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards, cash, and Health Spending Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. If you choose to request "out-of-network" reimbursement from your insurance provider or use an HSA/FSA for payment, I am willing to provide a detailed invoice that you can submit directly to your insurance company.

CSS INFORMATION

I am also a Walworth County CCS Provider. The CCS program serves clients who are Medicaid eligible and who would benefit from a higher level of care to prevent them from experiencing further or future hospitalizations.
